AGF Team Champions!

November 3, 2022

The Hybrids close out the 2022 season in strong fashion at the American Grappling Federation tournament in Huntington Beach. Securing a top three finish in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi) catergory as a team. However, the Hybrids would not be denied in the Nogi team race. The Hybrids captured three individual Nogi champions and mutiple place winners in both category and challenger divisions to secure the 2022 AGF Nogi team title.


Hybrids Invade the Inland Empire

October 3, 2022

Congratulations to our Hybird Nogi team! All four of our Hybrid Nogi competitors made the podium at this year's 2022 Inland Empire Open. All students displayed great Jiu-Jitsu and by earning medal award honors in their respective divisions. Way to go Hybrids!

ADCC 2022

September 15, 2022

Congratulations to Hybrid student Garrett Granger on capturing the silver medal at the 2022 ADCC Open Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada. Garrett becomes apart history by becoming a medalist in the 100+ KG division at the inaugural ADCC Open tournament.


Victory in Vegas

August 28, 2022

What weekend it was for our Hybrids in the desert. Three out of four Hybrids made the podium at NAGA Las Vegas. Madison captures double gold in the Gi category and open. Blue belt students, Garrett Granger and Dylan Roberts both challenged themselves in upper belt ranks in Gi and Nogi. Both Hybrids made the podium as blue belts amongst upper belts (Purple, Brown, and Black belt). Way to go Hybrids!

Hybrids Takeover North Americas

Another stellar performance by our Hybrids at the NABJJF North American Championships. Seven out of eight Hybrids made podium in both category and open division for Gi & Nogi. Congrats to all our students who competed.

Congratulations to Hybrids, Dylan Roberts and Garrett Granger on capturing gold medals at the 2022 SJJIF World Championships. Both students displayed amazing Jiu-Jitsu to become Hybrid Academy's first pair of world champions in our programs history.

Granger shines at All-Americas

June 26, 2022

Hybrid student, Garrett Granger comes through with an amazing performance at the NABJJF All-Americas tournament. After competing in the two day Gi & Nogi competition, Garrett places double silver in both the Gi and earns the bronze in the Nogi divison. An overall three medals in both the ultra heavy category and the open division.

Victory in Vegas

Congratulations to our student Dylan Roberts on placing at the NABJJF Las Vegas Open. Dylan at 17 years young, fought in the adult Nogi division earning the silver medal. Dylan continues to display his hard work through Jiu-Jitsu competiton. We're all proud of you Dylan.


Lady Hybrid Shines

Congratulations to Madison Toy on briging home double silver at the 2022 Womens Cup. Madison competed in both the white belt divison and challenged herself by stepping up to blue belt division. Madison showed tremendous heart and determination. Way to go Madi!

Hybrids shine at Iron Man Nogi Tournament

Congratulations to our Hybrids on a great performance at the 2022 Iron Man Nogi tournament. All three Hybrids placed in their respective divisions. A special show of recongnition to student Garrett Granger who became the 2022 Iron Man Nogi champion in the 200lbs plus division.

Back To Back Champions!

February 20, 2022

Congratulations to our team for winning back to back team championships at GX Murrieta. The Hybrids showed tremedous heart by battling through individual adversity by securing its second consecutive team title. Hats off to all are students (Kids & Adults) who competed. Overall, we brought home 22 individual medalist. Way to go Hybrids!


Hybrid Blues make a Statement in San Diego

January 29, 2022

Jiu-Jitsu World League San Diego was the site where Hybrids, Chris Arriola and Dylan Roberts made their blue belt debuts. Both Chris and Dylan had an outstanding performance to capture silver in both their respective divisions. Both Hybrids will be returning to the competition scene along with the rest of the team at The GX Murrieta tournament on February 20th.

Hybrid Academy dominates The Iron Man Invitational

January 15, 2022

The 2022 competition season kicked off with Iron Man Invitational tournament. We had seven students compete and all seven placed in their respective divisions. An outstanding performance by our team led to a 1st place finish overall to claim the Iron Man team tournament title.
